Our story

We've been best friends since we were 17.

We were each other's best man. We've climbed mountains together. And through everything life has thrown at us, we've been there for each other.

Along the way, we each built a business. Jon has his own accounting firm. Josh runs a firm that helps businesses grow and scale. For years, we swapped war stories about what was working and what wasn't.

One thing kept coming up. Josh's clients came to him to grow. Jon's came to him to get their books right. But underneath, so many of them had the same problem. They didn't truly know their numbers, or what to do with them.

And we saw what that did to good people, working flat out and still guessing.

We know the pressure, too. We're both dads. We both run businesses. And we both know what it's like to be the one everyone expects to have the answer to every question.

We'd both learned the same lesson. You can't grow a business when your money's in a mess. And you can't keep good books without a firm grip on your cash. Growth and good numbers go hand in hand.

So we brought our 30 years of combined experience together and built The Profit System. The numbers that show you what's really going on. And finance and growth experts you can have in your corner, with a clear plan for what to do next.

Growing a business is hard. Really hard. But with your money and your growth under control, that's the difference between the owners who thrive and the ones who struggle.
